Best Military Fitness Program – Military Physical Fitness Exercises

If you’re looking for a military fitness program I can tell you that you’re up for a real challenge and you will never fully succeed. There is no way to get the real atmosphere of the army unless you plan on enlisting. However, I believe that there is a way to get really close to the kind of physical fitness the army requires.

There are all sorts of people who offer bootcamp style workouts but often these are not really close to what a soldier really needs to go through since most civilian fitness programs are focused on looks and not on real physical ability. A soldier cares little for how he looks. Mainly, he needs to be in tip top shape to avoid getting shot in battle.

If you’re a woman who wants to enlist in the military, you may need to lose weight in order to pass the military physical exam for enlistment.

Unfortunately, many women — and men too — are turned down by the military because they are overweight. In fact, an increasing percentage of all applicants – men and women – can’t pass the military physical because they are obese or overweight.

Train Like the Military – Exercises, Workouts, and Principles You Can Use For Your Home Workouts

A few years ago, I bought a book about the Navy Seals and how they worked out. I tried to find the book as a reference for this article, but couldn’t find it. Either way, I’ve retained some information from memory that I’d like to share. First of all, there were four main parts to the Navy Seals program: upper body training, core training, stretching, and cardio.

For some reason, the book did not talk about lower body training. Either way, the workouts presented in the book were very minimalist and 100% bodyweight exercises. I remember in particular the format of the workouts. The used a pyramid style of training.
